The British Journal for the History of Science Digital Archive is a repository of every single article published in the journal between 1962 and 2000. It also includes articles published in the journal's previous incarnation, Bulletin of the British Society for the History of Science , between 1949 and 1961.

The archive houses over 14,700 pages of content, reproduced as high-resolution, searchable PDFs. The Archive marks the complete digitisation of The British Journal for the History of Science, with all material available through Cambridge Core.

The archive contains approximately 6,000 articles from the Journal's first 33 volumes - 143 issues in total.

Published for The British Society for the History of Science. This leading international journal publishes scholarly papers and review articles on all aspects of the history of science. History of science is interpreted widely to include medicine, technology and social studies of science. BJHS papers make important and lively contributions to scholarship and the journal has been an essential library resource for more than thirty years. It is also used extensively by historians and scholars in related fields. A substantial book review section is a central feature. There are four issues a year, comprising an annual volume of over 600 pages.
