This special collection of papers grows out of a collaboration between the Development Bank of Latin America and the Caribbean (CAF) and the Transformative Urban Mobility Initiative (TUMI), which is supported by the GIZ (Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit or GmbH) and the German Development Ministry (BMZ). The published articles are an exploration of urban mobility and transportation systems in the Latin America and Carribean region, leveraging diverse data sources and methodologies. Each study contributes valuable insights that hold policy significance for the development of inclusive, sustainable, and efficient urban mobility strategies.
