The Lloyd's Register Foundation is an independent global charity with a mission to promote engineering a safer world. The impact of this grant funding for DCE is that the journal can support any author accepted in the journal to publish on an open access basis, even if that author does not have separate funding to pay an article processing charge or belong to an institution with an open access agreement with Cambridge University Press.
