Abstract

Four new species of Bornean Zingiberaceae are described:- Amomum sceletescens, Hedychium borneense from Sabah, H. lineare which occurs in Sabah, Sarawak and Kalimantan, and Elettariopsis kerbyi from the Gunong Mulu National Park in Sarawak.
