How to Enter:
1. Participants must follow three Twitter profiles:
· Nutrition Society Publication – @NS_Publications
· Cambridge Medicine and Health Science - @CUP_med_health
· IHMC 2021 - @ihmc2021
2. Participants must retweet the either tweet from CUP Med Health or NS Publications to participate in the draw competition.
Conditions:
1. Our prize draw is organised by FLS-Science, acting as a platform of the Fundación FLS de lucha contra el Sida, las enfermedades infecciosas y la promoción de la salud y la ciencia (known simply as ‘Fight Aids Foundation’ or ‘Organiser’) located at Carretera del Canyet, s/n, Hospital Germans Trias, 08916, Badalona, Spain, and represented by Mr Albert Tuldrà, acting as a Manager, duly empowered to act as such.
2. Participation will start by April 14th until April 26th 10:00 AM (CET). Entries received after the stated closing date will not be accepted.
3. Our prize draws and competitions are free to enter and no purchase is necessary. One entry per person.
4. Fight Aids Foundation will not accept responsibility for entries that are lost, mislaid, damaged or delayed in transit, regardless of cause, including, for example, as a result of any postal failure, equipment failure, technical malfunction, systems, satellite, network, server, computer hardware or software failure of any kind.
5. By submitting an entry, you are agreeing to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you have any questions, please contact info@ihmc2021.com.
6. The Fight Aids Foundation reserves the right to refuse entry or refuse to award the prize to anyone in breach of these terms and conditions.
Eligibility
7. Those students who have already purchased their registration to the Congress, can also participate on the draw. If they won, they would get the amount paid reimbursed.
8. The prize draw is open to people aged 18 and over who provide their email address after completing the survey.
9. Only one entry per person is permitted.
10. In entering, you confirm that you are eligible to do so and eligible to claim any prize you may win. The Fight Aids Foundation may require you to provide proof that you are eligible to enter the prize draw or competition.
11. The Fight Aids Foundation reserves all rights to disqualify you if your conduct is contrary to the spirit or intention of the prize draw or competition.
The Draw
12. A winner will be chosen by random draw performed by a computer process within one month of the prize draw or competition ending.
13. The winner of the draw will receive a Student Registration for the 8th International Human Microbiome Consortium Congress (“Congress”) which is scheduled to take place from 27th June 2021 to 29th June, 2021 inclusive in a virtual format.
14. The winner can be asked to send a Student Proof to the Organiser after having been chosen as the winner.
15. The winner will receive details of the prize.
16. The winner will be notified by email or telephone (using details provided at entry) within 7 days of being chosen and must provide a postal address to claim their prize. If a winner does not respond to the Fight Aids Foundation within 14 days of being notified, then the winner’s prize will be forfeited, and the Fight Aids Foundation will be entitled to select another winner in accordance with the process described above.
17. The prize will be sent to the winner within 14 days of responding to the Fight Aids Foundation.
18. The prize is non-exchangeable, non-transferable and no cash alternative is offered. The Fight Aids Foundation reserves the right to replace the prize with an alternative prize of equal or higher value if circumstances beyond the Fight Aids Foundation’s control makes it necessary to do so.
19. If the Congress is cancelled, the prize will not be compensated with any other goods or advantages. Any extra expenses derived from having received this award will not be compensated.
20. The decision of the Fight Aids Foundation regarding any aspect of the prize draw or competition is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into about it.
21. The Fight Aids Foundation reserves the right to hold void, cancel, suspend, or amend the promotion where it becomes necessary to do so.
Limitation of liability
22. Insofar as is permitted by law, the Fight Aids Foundation, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize except where it is caused by the negligence of the Fight Aids Foundation, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.
Data protection and publicity
23. The Fight Aids Foundation is committed to protecting and respecting your privacy and will only use your personal information in accordance with these Terms and Conditions and the Fight Aids Foundation’s Privacy Policy which is available on our website: http://www.flsida.org/en/disclaimer.
24. By entering, you agree that any personal information provided by you with your entry may be held and used by the Fight Aids Foundation or its agents and suppliers to administer the competition.
Governing law
25. All our prize draws and competitions will be governed by Spanish law and entrants to the prize draw submit to the jurisdiction of the Spanish courts.
26. The Fight Aids Foundation reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions from time to time and any updated version will be effective as soon as it is published on the website.
