We would like to invite submissions of original manuscripts for a Special Issue of High Power Laser Science and Engineering on High Energy Class-Diode Pumped Solid State Laser Technology (HEC-DPSSL).

The scope of the Special Issue will span DPSSL research & technology including laser technology, system architectures, laser components & system modeling.

Topics of interest include but are not limited to:

• High average and high peak power DPSSLs, especially for high pulse energy generation
• Diode lasers and array technology for pumping DPSSLs
• Diode light delivery optical systems for pumping DPSSLs
• Gain media specifically tailored for pulsed DPSSLs
• Thermal management solutions
• Modeling of system performance and thermal issues
• Diagnostic development pertinent to DPSSLs
• Adaptive optics, modulators, frequency converters, stabilization systems and other supporting laser technologies for HEC-DPSSLs
• Applications of high energy DPSSLs
