Presenting international, peer-reviewed scholarship on the history of natural philosophy and the philosophy of science, HOPOS explores this history through a wide variety of lenses, from the textual-interpretative to investigations of institutional, cultural, and political contexts, as well as new computational methods for analyzing texts and traditions. This includes a focus not only on the work of philosophers of science and natural philosophers but also the development and impact of the philosophy of science as a discipline. The journal features articles, special issues, book reviews, and review essays of recent scholarship in growing areas of the field.
