Miss Ernestina Landau (d. 24 June 2013), Zagreb, Croatia (Life member). Born in Sarajevo in about 1923, she studied with A. C. Gimson at UCL and championed the addition of the ‘Linking (absence of a break)’ mark to the Suprasegmentals of the IPA in 1989.
