Collecting Soil Cores in Plastic Liners

Abstract

A soil sampler was constructed to collect soil cores in plastic tubes to a depth of 30 cm. This method of sampling prevents loss of soil, minimizes soil contamination, and permits proportional sectioning of the soil core into desirable segments for bioassay or chemical analysis.
