Abstract

An applicator is described that uses the principle of the cone seeder to obtain uniform distribution of granules along the length of the plot and conventional, commercially manufactured, granular spreaders for distribution across the width of the treated area. If plot size is held constant, no calibration or adjustment is necessary when rates of application are varied or when different formulations of granules are used.
