An attribution was errantly made in the first full sentence on page 18. The original sentence read, “A thorough analysis, however, of lipids from grinding stones and ceramic artifacts (Stirn et al., 2023) revealed many dietary plants but no evidence for whitebark pine.”
This is corrected to, “A thorough analysis, however, of starch from grinding stones and ceramic artifacts (Rankin, Reference Rankin2016) revealed many dietary plants but no evidence for whitebark pine. Stirn et al., 2023 studied lipids from cultural sites in three Wyoming mountain ranges and interpreted that whitebark pine was represented. As lipids cannot be identified to species, however, and in that limber pine also grows in these ranges, it remains uncertain which species of pine the lipids revealed.”
