A conference on Model Theory was held in Beijing, P.R. China on July 8–12, 2024, hosted by the Institute of Mathematics in the Academy of Mathematics and Systems Science (AMSS). The conference brought together researchers from all areas of model theory, at any stage in their career, for an intense week of collaboration. There were over 60 participants in the conference. Generous support was provided by the AMSS, the following NSFC programs “Basic Science Center Program (No. 12288201)”, “Excellent Young Scholars (No. 12122118)”, “Excellent International Young Scientists (No. 12350610234)” and the Association for Symbolic Logic.
The programme consisted of five days of talks and included the following speakers: Alex Berenstein (University of Los Andes, Colombia), Artem Chernikov (University of Maryland, USA), Gabe Conant (The Ohio State University, USA), Annalisa Conversano (Massey University, New Zealand), Christian D’Elbée (University of Leeds, UK), James Freitag (University of Illinois at Chicago, USA), Isaac Goldbring (University of California at Irvine, USA), Will Johnson (Fudan University, China), Piotr Kowalski (University of Wroclaw, Poland), Krzysztof Krupiński (University of Wroclaw, Poland), Omar Leon-Sanchez (University of Manchester, UK), Amador Martin-Pizarro (University of Freiburg, Germany), Ronnie Nagloo (University of Illinois at Chicago, USA), Nicholas Ramsey (University of Notre Dame, USA), Zlil Sela (Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Israel), Sergei Starchenko (University of Notre Dame, USA), Lou van den Dries (University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, USA), and Mariana Vicaria (University of California at Los Angeles, USA).
The members of the Organizing Committee were Kyle Gannon (Peking University), Wei Li (AMSS, Chinese Academy of Sciences), Rizos Sklinos (AMSS, Chinese Academy of Sciences), and Shichang Song (Beijing Jiaotong University).
