The authors wish to correct their published paper [Reference Mirhafez, Pasdar and Avan1].
Table 1 has been corrected as follows: the data appear to have been transposed and some data have changed in their positions between columns in the published article, although the interpretation and discussion of the data are not affected. Also, with respect to the age variable in this table, the “.” punctuation mark is missed in the SD. Also, the total number of subjects in the MetS- group was 150, but due to missing serum samples, cytokine assay was performed for 148 people in this group.
