Appendix A: Normalised Frequencies of Target Items

Table 2.5Normalised frequencies (per 100 articles) and range (% of articles in which the term occurred) of ‘canonical’, ‘non-canonical’, ‘marked’, ‘unmarked’, ‘standard’, and ‘non-standard’ in six journals
The table presents normalized frequencies and range percentages for several linguistic terms across six journals. See long description.

Note. NF = normalised frequency.

Table 2.5Long description

The table is organized into columns representing the journals Cor, JEngL, J G L, J H L, JoL, and Syn. Each row contains the normalized frequency N F and the range percentage for the terms canonical, non-canonical, marked, unmarked, standard, and non-standard.
