In the citation for Byrsonima cardenasii published in this issue of the Edinburgh Journal of Botany (p. XXX), the holotype specimen is listed as ‘Acevedo et al. 1342’. This is an error (to be corrected under ICN Art. 9.2; Turland et al., Reference Turland, Wiersema, Barrie, Greuter, Hawksworth, Herendeen, Knapp, Kusber, Li, Marhold, May, McNeill, Monro, Prado, Price and Smith2018). It should read ‘Acevedo et al. 1324’.
