The original manuscript was published with two errors.

In the last sentence of the first paragraph, the published manuscript incorrectly reads ‘The author pursues these aims, employing interpretive methods to understand the actions and justifications of political leaders.’ The correct version of the sentence should be ‘Employing interpretive methods to understand the actions and justifications of political leaders, the authors pursue these aims.’

In the last sentence of the second paragraph, the sentence reads ‘The author argued that this approach influenced Africa’s backing of the ICC, the World Trade Organization Appellate Body, the African Court on Human and Peoples’ Rights, and various subregional courts.’ The sentence should read ‘The authors argue that this approach influenced Africa’s backing of the ICC, the World Trade Organization Appellate Body, the African Court on Human and Peoples’ Rights, and various subregional courts.’
