In the originally published version of the paper titled “A new morphotype description of Arbacia spatuligera Valenciennes, 1846 (Arbacioida, Echinoidea) and bathymetric range extension from mesophotic reefs of the central coast of Chile” an error occurred during the galley proof. The affiliation of Luis Enrique Angeles-Gonzalez was changed from Unidad Académica Sisal, Facultad de Ciencias, Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM) to Departamento de Biotecnología, Centro de Investigación Científica y de Educación Superior de Ensenada (CICESE). However, the affiliation of Nuno Simoes was inadvertently changed to CICESE as well, whereas his correct affiliation remains with UNAM. We apologize for this oversight, and we wish to clarify that Nuno Simoes was affiliated with UNAM at the time of publication.

The correct affiliation would be:
