OA publishing agreements with KEMÖE - Austria


The Austrian Academic Library Consortium (Kooperation E-Medien Österreich - KEMÖ) has made an agreement with Cambridge University Press to support Open Access publishing.

If you are affiliated with a participating institution, you can publish your article Open Access (OA) - at no cost to you - in gold* and hybrid journals. In addition, you can enjoy access to Cambridge University Press journals content.

* With the exception of Cambridge Prisms and Research Directions journals. We offer several other routes to funding OA publication in these titles.

  • University of Salzburg (Universität Salzburg)
  • University of Veterinary Medicine, Vienna (Veterinärmedizinische Universität Wien)
  • University of Vienna (Universität Wien)
  • Vienna University of Technology (Technische Universität Wien (TU Wien))
  • WU Vienna University of Economics and Business (Wirtschaftsuniversität Wien)

    To be eligible, articles must:

    • Have a corresponding author affiliated with a participating institution as listed above.
    • Be original research – eligible article types are research articles, review articles and rapid communications, brief reports and case reports,
    • Be accepted for publication in a Cambridge University Press journal within your institution’s chosen journals collection as listed above.
    • Be accepted for publication from 1 January 2024.
