Summary
Chapter 2 introduces the microclimatic elements and the methods and instruments used to observe them are described in Chapter 3. The following two chapters treat radiation and the energy balance. Chapter 6 examines monitoring and modeling of radiation and energy balance via remote sensing and land surface models. Chapters 7 and 8 discusses microclimates of different vegetated environments and of physical systems. Chapter 9 describes the field of bioclimatology.
