Review process

This journal uses a single-anonymised model of peer review. The author does not know the identity of the reviewers, but the reviewers know the identity of the author. 

Reviewers assess the main document, figures, tables, appendices, and any supplemental material referred to in the manuscript. Reviews are accessible through a one-click access link and do not require log in.

Review Deadlines

Articles.—Three weeks.

Taxonomic Notes.—Three weeks.

Memoirs.—Six weeks.

Co-Review

Co-reviewers and mentees are welcome! Co-reviewing is an excellent way for students and early career researchers to gain experience reviewing papers. If you have been invited to review and are interested in co-reviewing, please answer and follow the directions for the specific co-reviewer question in your review questionnaire.
