Martin Peterson is Professor of Philosophy & Sue and Harry E. Bovay Professor of the History and Ethics of Professional Engineering at Texas A&M University. He is the author of four books and one edited collection: An Introduction to Decision Theory is an undergraduate textbook (CUP, 1st ed 2009, 2nd ed 2017). Non-Bayesian Decision Theory (Springer 2008) defends a non-Bayesian account of practical rationality against its Bayesian rivals. The Prisoner's Dilemma (CUP, 2015) is an edited volume on a much discussed non-cooperative game. Peterson has also authored 63 articles in peer-reviewed journals on topics in decision theory, applied ethics, philosophy of science, and normative ethics.
