Public Health Nutrition is an international peer-reviewed journal that publishes original papers, review articles and policy relevant papers related to nutrition and public health. The aim of the journal is to increase knowledge and understanding of the causes of diet related disease across the world and report on insights to improve nutritional quality, food security and health. The journal also encourages debate of key issues through commentaries and collections. Public Health Nutrition publishes manuscripts from low-, middle- and high-income countries that report on; nutritional epidemiology, behavioural nutrition relating to healthy, affordable and sustainable diets, food environments and food systems and evaluation of nutrition interventions including evaluation of nutrition policies. Public Health Nutrition also publishes manuscripts on topics interacting with nutrition and health such as food and planetary health and nutrition communication. The journal is of interest to epidemiologists and nutritionists working in research or in areas related to disease prevention where application of solution-based nutritional research is key.
