We define (iterated) coisotropic correspondences between derived Poisson stacks, and construct symmetric monoidal higher categories of derived Poisson stacks, where the $i$-morphisms are given by $i$-fold coisotropic correspondences. Assuming an expected equivalence of different models of higher Morita categories, we prove that all derived Poisson stacks are fully dualizable and so determine framed extended TQFTs by the Cobordism Hypothesis. Along the way, we also prove that the higher Morita category of $E_{n}$-algebras with respect to coproducts is equivalent to the higher category of iterated cospans.
In this article, we study short exact sequences of finitary 2-representations of a weakly fiat 2-category. We provide a correspondence between such short exact sequences with fixed middle term and coidempotent subcoalgebras of a coalgebra 1-morphism defining this middle term. We additionally relate these to recollements of the underlying abelian 2-representations.

We establish a combinatorial model for the Boardman–Vogt tensor product of several absolutely free operads, that is, free symmetric operads that are also free as 𝕊-modules. Our results imply that such a tensor product is always a free 𝕊-module, in contrast with the results of Kock and Bremner–Madariaga on hidden commutativity for the Boardman–Vogt tensor square of the operad of non-unital associative algebras.
In this paper, we complete the ADE-like classification of simple transitive 2-representations of Soergel bimodules in finite dihedral type, under the assumption of gradeability. In particular, we use bipartite graphs and zigzag algebras of ADE type to give an explicit construction of a graded (non-strict) version of all these 2-representations.
Moreover, we give simple combinatorial criteria for when two such 2-representations are equivalent and for when their Grothendieck groups give rise to isomorphic representations.
Finally, our construction also gives a large class of simple transitive 2-representations in infinite dihedral type for general bipartite graphs.
The main result of this paper establishes a bijection between the set of equivalence classes of simple transitive 2-representations with a fixed apex ${\mathcal{J}}$ of a fiat 2-category $\mathscr{C}$ and the set of equivalence classes of faithful simple transitive 2-representations of the fiat 2-subquotient of $\mathscr{C}$ associated with a diagonal ${\mathcal{H}}$-cell in ${\mathcal{J}}$. As an application, we classify simple transitive 2-representations of various categories of Soergel bimodules, in particular, completing the classification in types $B_{3}$ and $B_{4}$.
We compute coherent presentations of Artin monoids, that is, presentations by generators, relations, and relations between the relations. For that, we use methods of higher-dimensional rewriting that extend Squier’s and Knuth–Bendix’s completions into a homotopical completion–reduction, applied to Artin’s and Garside’s presentations. The main result of the paper states that the so-called Tits–Zamolodchikov 3-cells extend Artin’s presentation into a coherent presentation. As a byproduct, we give a new constructive proof of a theorem of Deligne on the actions of an Artin monoid on a category.
This paper develops a general theory of canonical bases and how they arise naturally in the context of categorification. As an application, we show that Lusztig’s canonical basis in the whole quantized universal enveloping algebra is given by the classes of the indecomposable 1-morphisms in a categorification when the associated Lie algebra is of finite type and simply laced. We also introduce natural categories whose Grothendieck groups correspond to the tensor products of lowest- and highest-weight integrable representations. This generalizes past work of the author’s in the highest-weight case.
Given two Lie 2-groups, we study the problem of integrating a weak morphism between the corresponding Lie 2-algebras to a weak morphism between the Lie 2-groups. To do so, we develop a theory of butterflies for 2-term L∞-algebras. In particular, we obtain a new description of the bicategory of 2-term L∞-algebras. An interesting observation here is that the role played by 1-connected Lie groups in Lie theory is now played by 2-connected Lie 2-groups. Using butterflies, we also give a functorial construction of 2-connected covers of Lie 2 -groups. Based on our results, we expect that a similar pattern generalizes to Lie n-groups and Lie n-algebras.
C*-algebras form a 2-category with *-homomorphisms or correspondences as morphisms and unitary intertwiners as 2-morphisms. We use this structure to define weak actions of 2-categories, weakly equivariant maps between weak actions and modifications between weakly equivariant maps. In the group case, we identify the resulting notions with known ones, including Busby–Smith twisted actions and the equivalence of such actions, covariant representations and saturated Fell bundles. For 2-groups, weak actions combine twists in the sense of Green, and Busby and Smith.
The Packer–Raeburn Stabilization Trick implies that all Busby–Smith twisted group actions of locally compact groups are Morita equivalent to classical group actions. We generalize this to actions of strict 2-groupoids.
We study 2-representations of finitary 2-categories with involution and adjunctions by functors on module categories over finite-dimensional algebras. In particular, we define, construct and describe in detail (right) cell 2-representations inspired by Kazhdan–Lusztig cell modules for Hecke algebras. Under some natural assumptions we show that cell 2-representations are strongly simple and do not depend on the choice of a right cell inside a two-sided cell. This reproves and extends the uniqueness result on categorification of Kazhdan–Lusztig cell modules for Hecke algebras of type A from [V. Mazorchuk and C. Stroppel, Categorification of (induced) cell modules and the rough structure of generalised Verma modules, Adv. Math. 219 (2008), 1363–1426].
The theory of directed complexes is extended from free ω-categories by defining presentations in which the generators are atoms and the relations are equations between molecules. Our main result relates these presentations to the more standard algebraic presentations; we also show that every ω-category has a presentation by directed complexes. The approach is similar to that used by Crans for pasting presentations.
