LULU: Bones?storms into the cell. JIMMY sits on his bunk. He rises and they kiss passionately.
LULU: Jimmy! I came as soon as I could! What have they done to you? Oh my sweetheart, my darling, my poet, what have they done to you?
JIMMY: You've got to get me out of here. How are you?
LULU: I'm devastated.
JIMMY: The toilet's not working. The food's rotten. The rats are everywhere! I've spoken to the head of the prison. They're dragging their feet! The toilet is not even covered. There's no privacy in here!
LULU: Oh my darling. I'm sorry.
JIMMY: Am I dreaming? Please tell me I’ m dreaming! I can't believe this is happening to me! After all my years in the struggle!
LULU: But why are they letting you rot in here? Jimmy, what's going on?
JIMMY: Why are you asking me that? You also don't believe me? Is there no one left?!
LULU: Of course I believe you! You've been framed! I love you. I believe in you. And you love me?
JIMMY: Lulu, I can't believe it! I'm rotting in hell and you're asking me about love!
LULU: Oh Jimmy, my darling, I'm sorry.
JIMMY: Lulu, my sweetie pie, my little milky bar, you've got to get me out of this.
LULU: Am I your darling? Am I your little pet?
JIMMY: Lulu, you know I love you! You can't even ask me that question. Just get me out of here and I'll show you how much I love you. I'll marry you.
LULU: If you tell me that, I can do anything!
JIMMY: A wedding! A simcha!
LULU: What do you want me to do?
JIMMY: Go to your father.
LULU: My father? Not my father! Not again!
JIMMY: He's rich. He's got rich friends. He's got friends in high places. He's connected!
LULU: He doesn't like you, Jimmy.
JIMMY: Fuck him. You do anything to get me out of here. You scream, you break everything in the house, you smash tables, you smash chairs, you cry! Just get me out of here.
LULU: Jimmy, you know I'll do my best!
JIMMY: You'll do more than that! You know that I'm innocent…
LULU: … and I know that you love me! Pause.
JIMMY: Find Bones for me.
