This collection was compiled as an immediate response to the killing of George Floyd and subsequent protests against the continuing racism faced by Black people, particularly in the United States. We are also offering free access to a broader Race and Power collection, containing more than 180 journal articles and book chapters. The Race and Power collection casts its net wider, looking at the deep historical roots of racism and the different forms it takes around the world. It will be reviewed and updated quarterly. The initial selection will look at the experiences of enslaved Africans and their descendants.
