Access for all
As part of this ongoing commitment, we are now aligning our existing content with the requirements of the web accessibility rule (the Final Rule) made under Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act 1990 (ADA) .
Details about accessibility updates
We are continually working to make our Academic platforms and content as accessible and usable as possible and want to ensure you are informed about our progress.
We are enhancing accessibility on a significant number of our published titles, and we will begin to redistribute these titles from April 2026. In addition, we are taking steps to ensure that new titles yet to publish will also be accessible.
Content being updated
We will maintain and update a list of titles being made more accessible. This will shortly be publicly available to allow customers to follow our progress.
What if the material I need isn’t on the list?
If you have questions about specific products or content, please contact us at ADAinfo@cambridge.org with details of your requirements.
What about third-party providers?
As our updated products become available, we will distribute them to our partner organisations such as VitalSource, RedShelf etc. who provide alternative access to our content. Those partners remain responsible for the accessibility of their websites and mobile apps (if applicable), and for technical/accessibility support for their websites and mobile apps.
What do accessible products look like?
