Instructors

Some textbooks resources are marked for instructor use only such as lecturer slides, sample tests etc. These resources must be downloaded only by instructors.

Because some resources contain restricted information such as sample test results we require to verify those accessing locked instructor resources are actually instructors.

When you register or update your account as an instructor the account is updated when verification is completed. As a result, you need an account for us to store this verification against.

To request access to resources for a specific textbook following these steps:-

Navigate to the resources page for the text by clicking on Explore Resources on the title’s main page.

Log into your account if you have not done so

If you have not registered for an account register and be sure to set yourself as an instructor during the registration page.

If you have not set yourself as an instructor yet, you will be prompted to enter your Institution’s name and Institutional URL so we can verify your instructor status.

Select 'Unlock Instructor Resources' when on a locked resource resources page. This will send a request to unlock the title’s resources for your account

You will be able to check the status of your request in the My Account Dashboard area under 'Instructor resource requests'. Once access is granted, you have the option to download individual resources or download all.

Please note that you will only be granted access to resources for the specific textbook you have requested. You will not have access to resources for all textbooks on the Higher Education website.

We endeavour to respond to requests within 3 working days.
